CHARLES M CLINGER

Mr. Clinger joined the Firm in 2011 as an associate in the Investment Funds and Advisers Group.

EDUCATION

Mr. Clinger received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2010. While at Davis, Charles served as an Assistant Articles Editor of the UC Davis Law Review and as a member of the UC Davis Business Law Journal. Mr. Clinger also performed an externship for the Honorable Frank C. Damrell, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and participated in the school’s golf club. Mr. Clinger received his B.A., cum laude, in Business Administration/Finance from Weber State University in 2002.

PRIOR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mr. Clinger began his law practice at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions for private equity clients.  Prior to his legal career, Mr. Clinger was a professional athlete and banker.
