ANTHONY B. LEUIN

Mr. Leuin is a senior litigation partner of the Firm. He has a broad background in civil disputes of all types, with particular concentrations in insurance coverage, real estate and construction. While Mr. Leuin has successfully tried, arbitrated or otherwise resolved disputes ranging from partnership conflicts to wrongful termination to intellectual property ownership to tax claims, a substantial majority of his practice remains grounded in insurance coverage and real estate. His insurance coverage practice is limited to representation of insurance policyholders. He litigates and evaluates coverage under all types of policies, including property, general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, specialty policies and surety bonds. He also prosecutes claims for insurer bad faith. Mr. Leuin’s extensive practice in real estate litigation includes, for example, fraud claims, development agreement disputes, construction defect and delay claims, lease disputes, and subsidence, earth movement, and inverse condemnation issues. Given the prevalence of arbitration clauses in modern commercial real estate and construction contracts, Mr. Leuin has extensive familiarity with the law and practice governing private arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution (“ADR”).
