RICHARD F. MUNZINGER

Mr. Munzinger is a trial lawyer with expertise in many fields of commercial litigation, including contract and tort disputes, intellectual property litigation, legal malpractice, securities litigation and disputes within general partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations. Mr. Munzinger has extensive first and second chair litigation experience, and has successfully tried cases in state court, federal court, JAMS and the American Arbitration Association. Mr. Munzinger also has substantial experience mediating cases in both court-ordered and private settings.

EDUCATION

Mr. Munzinger received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2001. He received a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1996, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. Munzinger received a M.A. in Education from the University of Portland in 1998 and, before joining Shartsis Friese LLP, taught second and third grades in underprivileged Catholic schools in Fort Worth, Texas for two years.
