Mr. Rahmil joined the Firm’s Litigation Department in 2010.
His practice focuses on complex business cases, with an emphasis on representing lawyers and law firms, as well as other professionals and businesses. Mr. Rahmil also counsels employers and employees regarding non-compete agreements and assists clients with commercial real estate matters. Finally, Mr. Rahmil represents policyholders in insurance matters, including coverage and premium disputes, arising from first- and third-party claims under various types of policies. He has represented clients in state and federal courts through all phases of litigation (including discovery, motion practice, bench and jury trials, and appeals), as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums.
Mr. Rahmil received his law degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2010, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers. While at Davis, Mr. Rahmil served as a Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the UC Davis Law Review; was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Trial Practice Honors Board; worked as a research assistant for Professor Edward J. Imwinkelried; and received the Witkin award for excellence in Criminal Law, Property, Constitutional Law II, and Evidence. Mr. Rahmil received his B.S., magna cum laude, in Political Science and Philosophy in 2007 from Santa Clara University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
