KIMBERLY A. RICHARDSON

Ms. Richardson joined the firm in 2008 as an associate in the Business Department.  She specializes in general business and corporate matters with an emphasis in corporate governance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Richardson served as a Legislative Correspondent for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and was a financial analyst specializing in private equity portfolio credit for BMO Capital Markets in Chicago.

EDUCATION

Ms. Richardson received her dual B.A. degree in Economics and Communication Studies from DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana, in 2002.  She received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago, Illinois, in 2008.  While at Northwestern, Ms. Richardson was a member of Northwestern’s International Team Project for Legal Research in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and served as a Teaching Assistant in the Program on Negotiation and Mediation.
