Richard Munzinger Elevated to Partner

Shartsis Friese LLP announced today that Richard F. Munzinger will become a partner in the firm effective January 1, 2009.

Rick Munzinger is a trial lawyer with expertise in many fields of commercial litigation, including contract and tort disputes, intellectual property litigation, legal malpractice, securities litigation and disputes within general partnerships, limited partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations. He is a member of the 2008 Board of Directors for Bar Association of San Francisco Barristers’ Club.

Mr. Munzinger received his J.D. from Stanford Law School in 2001 and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1996, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  He received a M.A. in Education from the University of Portland in 1998 and, before joining Shartsis Friese, taught second and third grades in underprivileged Catholic schools in Fort Worth, Texas for two years.
