REAL ESTATE

Our Real Estate Department has expertise in a number of areas, including corporate facilities, leasing transactions, development, financing and workouts and retail and restaurant transactions. Our corporate clients include some of the Bay Area’s largest and most sophisticated companies which we have represented in planning, structuring and negotiating their real estate assets throughout the United States and internationally. Our real estate practice includes representation of developers of both office and retail projects.

Our Real Estate Department is also nationally known for its leasing practice. We have negotiated over six million square feet of space in recent years for both large institutional landlords and tenants in almost every state in the country.

In our real estate financing practice, we have represented large institutional lenders and borrowers in numerous transactions, including several uniquely structured transactions. Our real estate practice has also included major retail and restaurant projects, for which we have represented both developers and retailers. In addition, our Real Estate Litigation Group handles a variety of disputes involving real property.
