Salisbury named President of BASF Foundation
Shartsis Friese partner to spearhead efforts
to raise funds for charitable programs

San Francisco, April 28, 2008 – Shartsis Friese LLP partner Tracy Salisbury has been named President of the BASF Foundation for 2008.

The BASF Foundation is the charitable arm of The Bar Association of San Francisco and charged with raising funds for BASF's youth, diversity and charitable programs, including BASF's flagship Volunteer Legal Services Program (VLSP). The Foundation’s mission is to change lives by:

Ms. Salisbury noted, “I am honored to be asked to serve in this capacity by my colleagues at BASF. My primary goals as Foundation President will be to raise awareness about the Foundation’s activities and broaden participation in our fundraising programs. Everyone in the San Francisco legal community should be proud of what their Bar Association has accomplished and I would like to see every member of the Bar step up to the plate and make contribution to these worthwhile programs.”
