Cristina Rubke is of counsel to the Firm within the Litigation Department. Ms. Rubke’s principal practice areas are trademark prosecution and counseling. Ms. Rubke advises clients on domestic and international trademark matters, including trademark selection and availability, enforcement, brand monitoring, international protection, and the prosecution of U.S. and international trademark applications. She manages U.S. and international trademark portfolios for clients in a wide range of industries.

Cristina is the Immediate Past President of the San Francisco Intellectual Property Law Association and is a member of the International Trademark Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. In addition, she serves on several non-profit boards including Disability Rights Advocates and BayQuest. From 2012-2020, Ms. Rubke served via mayoral appointment as a member of the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, which oversees public transportation, traffic and parking in San Francisco. As an avid sailor, Ms. Rubke sails as often as possible, sometimes in national and international regattas, and currently serves as Commodore of the Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors.
