Shartsis Friese Adds Four Associates

Shartsis Friese LLP announced that Suzanne De Galan, Katherine R. Miller, Kimberly A. Letter, and John J. Stein have joined the firm as associates.

Suzanne De Galan was previously an associate with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Palo Alto.  She received her J.D. from Boalt Hall at the University of California, Berkeley in 2006 and her B.A. with honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.  Suzanne has joined the Business Department.

Katie Miller was previously an associate with Latham & Watkins in San Francisco.  She received her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School in 2006 and her B.A. in Public Policy from Stanford University in 2000.  Katie has joined the Litigation Department.

Kimberly Letter received her J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law in 2008 and her dual B.A. in Economics and Communications Studies from DePauw University in 2002.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Letter served as a Legislative Correspondent for the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and a financial analyst for BMO Capital Markets in Chicago.  Kimberly has joined the Business Department.

J.J. Stein was previously a legal research attorney to the Honorable John E. Munter, San Francisco Superior Court.  He received his J.D., cum laude, from Hastings College of the Law in 2007 and his B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science from University of California, Irvine in 2004.  J.J. has joined the Litigation Department.
