Ms. Fox joined the Firm in 2014 as Of Counsel in the Real Estate Department. Her practice involves all aspects of transactional real estate matters, with special emphasis on purchase and sale transactions, leasing and construction contracting. In addition, her services have included a wide range of project development activities, including acquisition, construction and financing aspects in commercial transactions with a focus on the energy sector. Prior to joining Shartsis Friese, Ms. Fox was a partner at two boutique real estate law firms following her early years of practice at Thelen, Reid & Priest.
Represented solar energy clients in connection with the development of multiple solar energy projects and facilities involving over 50,000 acres of real property and designed to generate more than 2,500 megawatts of electricity to serve roughly 1,000,000 businesses and homes.
Represented energy clients in connection with the leasing, land use, development and financing of multiple conventional and renewable energy power production facilities.
Represented commercial and industrial building owners and tenants in leasing, management and operation matters.
Represented lending institutions and borrowers in connection with construction and permanent financing for commercial projects, loan workouts and foreclosures.
Represented buyers in acquisitions of power plants and steamfield assets (1st and 2nd rounds of PG&E plant divestitures and other utility company divestitures) with an aggregate value of $1.7 billion.
Represented owner in negotiating retail leases for 592,000 square feet of space in Northern California shopping center.
Represented charitable foundation in connection with ownership of multiple parcels of real property in Santa Cruz County, including transfer of property dedicated for public use and processing of a vesting tentative map in connection with a large residential development
