Cristina Rubke has been confirmed as the newest member of the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA).

Shartsis Friese is proud to announce that on June 5th, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors confirmed Shartsis Friese attorney Cristina Rubke as the newest member of the Board of Directors for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.  Cristina is a litigation attorney who works in the areas of intellectual property, trust and estate litigation, and general business disputes.  She joined Shartsis Friese in March, 2005 after graduating from Santa Clara Law.

Cristina serves on the California State Bar’s Counsel on Access and Fairness, which acts as the State Bar’s “diversity think tank” and advises the Board of Governors on advancing State Bar diversity strategies and goals. Cristina is also the Co-Chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Committee on Disability Rights. Cristina is a board member of Disability Rights Advocates, a non-profit law firm dedicated to securing the civil rights of people with disabilities. Cristina has been a delegate to the annual Conference of California Bar Associations since 2007 and was the 2010 Chair of the Bar Association of San Francisco delegation. She is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Judiciary Committee. Outside of the legal community, Cristina is an avid sailor who serves on the America’s Cup Organizing Committee and on the board of the Bay Area Association of Disabled Sailors.
