Rachel brings years of experience in investment fund formation and the ongoing operation of investment advisers. Her practice emphasizes the formation, organization and operation of venture capital, private equity and hedge funds and their general partner and management company entities.
Providing a full range of counsel to these companies, Rachel regularly prepares fund formation materials, including Limited Partnership Agreements, Private Placement Memorandums, Subscription Materials, side letters and ancillary filing materials, and regularly handles discreet tasks for advisers. Prior to joining Shartsis, Rachel was an associate at Gunderson Dettmer in their Corporate Fund group.
While attending J. Reuben Clark Law School, Rachel served as vice president of the Corporate Law Society and placed first in Utah’s University Growth Fund venture capital case competition.
