Kate is an attorney in the Firm’s Corporate Group. Kate’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions and general contractual and transactional matters.

Kate’s legal career started at the global law firm Simpson Thacher & Batlett, where she represented private equity firms and their portfolio companies, as well as technology companies, in potential acquisitions, sales and finance. Prior to entering law school, Kate worked as a recruiter and growth consultant in the Silicon Valley.

Kate maintains an active pro bono practice, with a particular focus on immigration and asylum cases. Outside of her practice, Kate enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and hiking in the San Francisco Bay Area.
