Annie Nguyen is a skilled litigator who brings extensive experience from her previous roles at prominent law firms and federal government service while maintaining a compassionate approach to client advocacy.

Annie represents clients in a broad range of business litigation matters in state and federal courts including commercial disputes, breach of contract claims, trust and estate litigation, and intellectual property disputes.

Before joining the Shartsis Friese, Annie was a litigation associate at Hopkins & Carley, ALC (now Lathrop GPM) where she advised clients and litigated high-stakes business and contractual disputes, including multimillion dollar claims. Her experience there also included representing clients in sensitive labor and employment matters. Earlier in her career, Annie was a litigation associate at Van De Poel, Levy, Thomas & Arneal, LLP where she gained experience in civil litigation and developed a strong foundation in client advocacy.

Annie’s legal career, which began before stepping foot onto Notre Dame Law School’s campus, included work as a legal secretary in a small plaintiff-side employment firm in San Jose and a paralegal at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP.

During law school, Annie completed a year-long externship with the St. Joseph County Public Defender’s Office, gaining hands-on courtroom experience and a deep appreciation for client advocacy. Upon graduating, Annie served with the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, D.C., before being selected for the prestigious Attorney General’s Honors Program with the U.S. Department of Justice.

Annie brings a depth of experience across both the public and private sectors and is committed to achieving favorable results for her clients through thoughtful strategy and dedicated representation.
