Dana Fox Joins Growing Shartsis Friese Real Estate Practice

San Francisco, August 12, 2014 – Shartsis Friese LLP announced today that Dana W. Fox has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the real estate group.

Ms. Fox focuses her practice on leasing, land use, construction, finance and sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. She was previously a partner with Plageman Lund & Cannon LLP in Oakland.

Ms. Fox’s practice encompasses all aspects of real estate and commercial transactions, including the negotiation and documentation of acquisitions, sales, leasing, development, construction and permanent financing and land use matters. She has also assisted energy clients in the development, leasing and financing of conventional and renewable energy power facilities.

With the addition of Ms. Fox, the Shartsis Friese real estate group now has 12 lawyers.  The firm’s real estate clients include leading Bay Area companies such as Oracle, Adobe and Netflix,  as well as prominent institutional real estate investors such as Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, UBS Realty Investors and Divco West Realty Services, and developers such as Emerald Fund and Wareham Development. Shartsis Friese also represents social media and internet companies in San Francisco such as Twitter, Yammer, and DropBox.
