Felicia’s practice includes a wide range of business litigation matters, including partnership disputes, breach of contract claims, breach of fiduciary duty claims, fraud, trade secret misappropriation, false advertising and unfair competition claims, intellectual property rights disputes, accounting matters, insurance coverage issues, and more.

Experience

  • Successfully represented the founder of one of the largest private developers of utility-scale solar projects in the United States in a series of arbitrations brought by investors who sought to oust the founder and take over the company. The case resulted in confirmed judgments entirely in the founder’s favor, who maintained control over the company and a $1+ billion pipeline of projects.
  • Obtained a $23 million jury verdict and judgment, collected in full, on behalf of a plaintiff and cross-defendants in a complicated case involving claims of conversion, breach of trust, breach of partnership agreement, and wrongful termination, among other claims.
  • Represented 11 current and former board members and employees of the Dental Board of California in a lawsuit brought against them by Smile Direct Club and affiliates alleging wide-ranging antitrust misconduct and nearly $1 billion in damages, securing a full dismissal of all claims against all defendants.
  • Won a $3 million jury verdict plus attorneys’ fees on behalf of real estate brokers who were owed a commission on a high-tech campus transaction, while defeating claims of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty against those brokers.
  • Represented a multi-national manufacturer in a patent dispute that successfully resolved prior to trial.
  • Successfully defeated claims of misappropriation of trade secrets brought against a departing law firm partner.
  • Obtained a favorable monetary settlement from a utility provider on behalf of a homeowner whose property required extensive environmental remediation (the utility provider also covered the cost of the remediation).
  • Won a dispositive motion dismissing a wrongful death claim brought against a company client
