Suzy Orza is a trusted litigator with recognized expertise in commercial litigation and a history of success in both state and federal courts, as well as in private arbitration.
Suzy represents clients in a diverse spectrum of business litigation in state and federal courts, as well as in private arbitration. Her expertise encompasses breach of contract claims, partnership disputes, trade secret misappropriation claims, and unfair competition claims. Suzy has extensive experience successfully defending consumer and commercial claims asserted in the American Arbitration Association, including mass arbitration claims. She also has experience handling trust and estate litigation, environmental disputes and employment disputes. Suzy has represented departments of the State of California, large public and private companies, small businesses, and individuals.
Prior to joining Shartsis Friese in 2018, Suzy was an attorney at Squire Patton Boggs (US) LLP in San Francisco. She also served as a legal extern to the Honorable Jeffrey S. White in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. She is the first extern to complete a one-year term with the Judge.
Before beginning her legal career, Suzy was a professional ballerina with the San Francisco Ballet.
