David is a Partner and a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Department. David represents institutional and non-institutional lenders, REITS, borrowers and investors in all areas of real estate, including: forming and representing limited liability companies and other joint ventures, mortgage and mezzanine financing, repurchase and other leverage facilities, and acquisitions and dispositions of commercial, hotel, multi-family residential, winery and vineyard properties. David also has significant experience representing lenders and other secured creditors in acquiring and restructuring distressed debt, loan workouts, loan enforcement, real property foreclosures, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure and dispositions of personal property collateral under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code.
Prior to joining the Firm, David practiced real estate law at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and served as a paramedic in the San Francisco Fire Department.
David lives in San Francisco with his wife, three children and a pair of mischievous dogs.
