Help For Children (HFC)

The 18th annual Help For Children Gala event for the San Francisco Chapter of Help For Children (aka, Hedge Funds Care) is scheduled for Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at San Francisco City Hall.  This year there will again be a whiskey tasting, in addition to wines from a number of terrific wineries and multiple buffet stations.  Our firm has enthusiastically supported HFC from its inception here on the West Coast and we are asking you to support it this year by attending the Gala.

HFC, an international foundation supported by the generosity of hedge and private equity funds and the wider alternative investment community, is focused on making the world a safer place for children.  Across the globe, child abuse is a hidden problem – abused children do not have anyone to stand up for them.  HFC and its supporters take a stand by providing grants to the most effective child abuse prevention and treatment programs in seven countries and 13 cities across three continents.  Since 2001, HFC in San Francisco has distributed more than $9.9 million in grants to nearly 50 local organizations that are dedicated to fighting child abuse. Unfortunately, the demand for our grants is very high; we are only able to fund a small portion of the applications we receive each year.

The annual Help For Children Gala here in San Francisco has become the principal occasion at which the West Coast alternative investment community unites.  We encourage you to support the event and join us in protecting children, and remember, the money raised at the event stays in the Bay Area.

Please purchase a ticket block or a single ticket for the event, and even if you can’t attend, please consider making a fully tax deductible donation.  HFC is offering a special early bird price of $1,750 per individual ticket until August 16, 2019.  Individual tickets are $1,950 after that date.  Block prices are:  10 tickets – $1,500 each; 6 to 9 tickets – $1,650 each; 5 tickets – $1,700 each.  You may register online by clicking the link below.

We hope that you will join us at what promises to be a great evening and help continue HFC’s efforts to fight child abuse.
