Jodi Fedor Joins Shartsis Friese Real Estate Practice

San Francisco, July 19, 2018:  Shartsis Friese LLP announced today that Jodi Fedor has joined the firm as a partner in its real estate group.

Ms. Fedor has a broad-based practice handling commercial real property transactions nationwide.  Her clients primarily include developers, institutional and private owners of and investors in real property, and technology companies and other corporate users of commercial real estate.  She was previously a partner with SSL Law Firm after more than ten years as a director/shareholder of Ellman Burke Hoffman & Johnson.  Prior to that, she was a Deputy City Attorney for the City and County of San Francisco, where she acted as primary counsel to the City’s Real Estate Department and PUC Bureau of Land Management.

Ms. Fedor is an elected Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.  She was named a “Northern California Real Estate Woman of Influence” by San Francisco Business Times in 2017 and recognized as one of the “Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Bay Area Commercial Real Estate” by Bisnow Power Women in 2016. She was the President of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) San Francisco in 2017 and continues to serve on its board and as chair of the CREW governance committee.

Ms. Fedor has particular expertise in acquisitions and sales (office, industrial, residential and mixed use), leasing (office, industrial and retail, both landlord and tenant side), financing (primarily borrower side), and structuring and development. In recent years she has represented several technology and consumer products companies in the acquisition and development of corporate campuses and major facilities sites, and currently serves as national real estate counsel to several of them, handling all real estate and facilities needs.

With the addition of Ms. Fedor, the Shartsis Friese real estate group now has 17 lawyers.  The firm’s real estate clients include institutional owners and managers of office, retail, hotel, winery, vineyard and mixed use projects across the country, multinational corporations, domestic and foreign banks, insurance companies, hospital systems, domestic and international investment funds, real estate investment trusts, commercial developers, and Bay Area civic and educational institutions.
